On June 14, Kwok took home a prize money of HK$1.98mil (RM1.2mil) after his horse finished first in the 1,200m race held at the Happy Valley Racecourse in Wan Chai District, Hong Kong.
The 57-year-old, who attended the event with his wife Moka Fang, was all smiles as he watched his equine buddy gallop to the finish line – with jockey Vincent Ho Chak Yiu riding it.
HK01 reported that the Heavenly King jumped in excitement after his horse took the lead and he hugged Fang tightly following the victory.
In addition to the HK$980,000 (RM578,315) in prize money, it's reported that Kwok also received an extra HK$1mil (RM590,117) as a bonus reward for horse owners whose animal wins its first Class Three race.
On social media, many netizens congratulated the Cyber Heist star on his win and lauded Fang for being a supportive wife.
In 2011, Kwok became a race-horse owner at the Hong Kong Jockey Club where he owned two horses, namely My Favorite and Calling With Love. He purchased another horse, Dancing Fighter, in 2018.
According to reports, the Where The Wind Blows star has participated in multiple horse races since 2012.
It is understood that Kwok hopes to pass down his love for horses to his family.
"I like horses and, maybe in the future, I would like my daughter (Chantelle) to ride one," he told South China Morning Post in 2018.
