With many beautiful landmarks, it is no surprise that foreign productions see Malaysia as one of the best shooting spots.

Last December, Hong Kong actor Philip Keung and Chinese artiste Samantha Ko were spotted shooting their upcoming film, Lock War, in Penang.

In a more recent update on Sunday (June 25), TVB actors Lai Lok Yi, 43, and Ali Lee, 40, were spotted filming a programme at Tasik Cermin in Ipoh.

In a series of photos posted by a netizen on the Chinese social networking site, Xiaohongshu, Lai and Lee can be seen dressed casually in a blue top and pair of denim jeans.

The Hong Kong stars interacted closely with the people at the filming site and were said to be very friendly in person.

Many netizens have left positive comments under the post, praising the two for their good looks.

On June 20, Lai revealed on Facebook that he will be filming two shows in Malaysia – the fourth season of the popular travel programme, Walking With You, and another show titled Sui Yi Deep Journey.

“One will be broadcasted in Malaysia and the other will be broadcasted in Hong Kong. Ten guests, 12 stories. Look forward to it,” the Come Home Love star wrote in his post.

Walking With You was first released in 2019. At the time, Lai appeared as a guest, and he came to Malaysia to experience the lifestyle and culture of locals here.

He later became a host in the second and third seasons, which were filmed in Hong Kong due to the pandemic.
