It was only a month ago Chinese artiste Samantha Ko revealed that she would be coming to Malaysia with Hong Kong actor Lai Lok Yi to shoot a travel programme.

And it seems that Ko, 36, has indeed kept her promise.

On Monday (June 3) night, she and Lai, 43, were spotted filming at the SS2 night market in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Their appearance attracted many onlookers who whipped their phones out to snap photos of the TVB stars.

Apart from enjoying plenty of yummy delicacies – including satay, char kuey teow, grilled squid and the popular Musang King durian – the duo tried "pulling" tea too.

According to China Press, Ko said she loved the variety of cuisines and hospitality of the people in Malaysia. She also added that it felt like home here.

In a past interview with the publication, the Queen Of News star expressed interest in buying a house in Penang after falling in love with the state while filming the upcoming movie, Lock War.

"I love the sea view at Batu Ferringhi, so I may get a property somewhere by the sea," she said then.

On June 20, Lai revealed on his Facebook account that he will be filming two shows in Malaysia – the fourth season of the popular travel programme, Walking With You, and another show titled Sui Yi Deep Journey.

"One will be shown in Malaysia and the other will be broadcasted in Hong Kong. Ten guests, 12 stories. Look forward to it," the Come Home Love star wrote in his post.

He was spotted filming with TVB actress Ali Lee, 40, at Tasik Cermin in Ipoh on June 25.
