Malaysian singer Gary Chaw ended his 14-year marriage with Taiwanese fashion blogger Wu Shuling last November.

In a joint statement, the pair said the divorce was an amicable one and they would take care of their two children together.

However, it seems that Chaw has not gotten over his divorce yet.

On Thursday (July 13) night, the Taiwan-based singer made a series of Instagram posts where he talked about his ex-wife and two children, Joe and Grace.

In the first post, Chaw uploaded a photo of himself with Wu and their children. His post was accompanied by a caption that read: "Best moment of my life... so far."

Chaw later commented on his own post saying, "I'm not necessarily the one with a bad temper."

The 44-year-old made a second post shortly after, in which he included another family photo. In the caption, he wrote: "Wish the next guy appreciates her (Wu) more than I do. If he doesn't... I'll find him (and) express my feelings."

He then added under his post: "What am I chasing? It's gone. Chasing (after nothing) haha."

In the third post, Chaw tagged Wu's Instagram account and wrote that he would be waiting for her lawyers to contact him.

When asked by a netizen if his ex-wife had done something to hurt him, the singer replied, "Nah. We hurt each other because we loved each other."

A few netizens also asked if he was drunk to which Chaw responded "no", adding that he was just "hurt".

He also made an Instagram Story slamming those who called him drunk for "speaking my mind".

"I didn't drink any alcohol. Do you even understand my pain? Stop thinking that you know everything, little friend," he wrote.

In the fourth post, Chaw uploaded a photo of him with Wu at their wedding. He then added a comment under his post saying, "Marriage is just a meaningless promise after all. It's all just empty words."

The next two updates included pictures of his ex-wife and their children.

The singer also posted a black and white photo of himself sitting on a stool, saying that he was "ready to go".

When one netizen told him not to do anything silly, Chaw retorted: "You're crazy."

In the final post, Chaw included another wedding photo of him and Wu smiling happily. In the caption, the singer admitted that he still loved his ex-wife.

"I'm messed up... but I still love her. I was foolishly scolded, laughed at, threatened, but still happy," he said.

On Friday (July 14) morning, Chaw made another post on Instagram which said: "I'm in so much pain. Help me."

The post sparked concern among netizens who then flooded his comments with words of encouragement, telling him to stay strong, think positive and to love himself more.

Chaw and Wu tied the knot in 2008. Last November, Chaw mentioned that they were facing marital problems.

According to reports, Chaw was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2017.

In an interview with StarLifestyle last year, the Sabah-born singer said that he had quit drinking as he was trying to make himself "better" and "healthier".

Last October, Chaw's ex-wife wrote on social media that she had to endure his antics for years before finally drawing a line.

Though Wu didn't specify what they were, many believed that she was referring to Chaw's drunken antics over the years – which included him getting into brawls and mistreating others while intoxicated.
