Natalie Portman was twice seen without her wedding ring last week, including on her anniversary, fuelling speculation she may have split from husband Benjamin Millepied, who was recently accused of cheating on the Oscar winner.
The Thor: Love And Thunder star, 42, was photographed without her ring during her Wednesday (August 2) appearance at Paris Fashion Week, and similarly lacked her ring the following day while taking part in the Angel City Equity Summit in Sydney, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Portman’s decision to step out without her ring comes on the heels of reports in June that Millepied, a 46-year-old French dancer and choreographer, had a “short-lived” affair with a 25-year-old woman, as a source told People. The alleged tryst was initially reported by French outlet Voici.
At the time his reported “enormous mistake” made headlines, the parents of two – who met on the set of Darren Aronofsky’s ballet-centric drama, Black Swan – were together and working to overcome the alleged betrayal, the insider told People.
The couple, who wed on Aug 4, 2012, together share 12-year-old son Aleph and 6-year-old daughter Amalia.
While Portman did take to Instagram last August to commemorate a decade of marriage, she has not yet commented about her and Millepied’s 11th wedding anniversary – though she has since been active on the social media platform.
“It keeps getting better...” read the latter half of Portman’s August 2022 caption of a black-and-white photo of the couple.
