HK actor Chow Yun Fat continues jogging despite medical advice to stop after a fall

Hong Kong actor Chow Yun Fat remains steadfast to his jogging routine despite being advised by doctors to stop for two months following a fall.

Chow, 68, was recently photographed in his usual all-black sports attire while going for his regular run.

Ever the friendly guy, the God Of Gamblers star obliged to a few selfies with fans.

One lucky admirer also recounted their experience meeting the superstar in person, saying, “Fat gor is so cool. We met him after he finished exercising and he agreed to take a photo with us! It’s fantastic!”

Meanwhile, several photos of Chow looking worn out have sparked concerns among netizens.

In one photo, netizens said that the actor looked haggard despite wearing a face mask.

Another showed the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star holding onto the railing as he descended the staircase.

Chow suffered multiple cuts on his palms and a fractured fourth rib on the left after a fall last month.

He said that he would be in pain whenever he laughed, coughed or even breathed a bit deeply.

An avid jogging enthusiast, Chow described running as a rewarding activity that has become a significant part of his life.

He also said that jogging has taught him perseverance and allowed him to meet and befriend many different people.

Last month, Chow ran to various cinemas in Hong Kong to promote his new movie, One More Chance.

He also completed a 10km race in just 1hr, 3min, 58sec earlier in February.
