Chinese piano maestro Liu Shikun and his wife Samantha Sun have welcomed another member to their family.

On Tuesday (Oct 17), Sun announced on her social media account that she had given birth to a son named Tian Tian.

In her post, the 47-year-old not only introduced her precious newborn but also shared several photos of her two-year-old daughter Bei Bei.

“Your sincere and genuine existence without a trace of impurity has touched me deeply. Welcome to our beautiful world, 7.3-pound (3.3kg) Liu Tian Tian, the newest member of our family,” Sun wrote.

Liu, 84, and Sun tied the knot in 2017. This is his third marriage.

In 2020, the couple welcomed their first child Bei Bei in the United States. It is said that Liu loves doting on Bei Bei and even hired three nannies to look after her.

According to Oriental Daily, Liu and Sun have allegedly set aside a sum amounting to HK$500mil (RM302.9mil) for their daughter's education.

The report added that the couple has invested in establishing a music school, which Sun considers to be the greatest gift for her daughter.

Liu once mentioned in a past interview that he plans on teaching Bei Bei how to play the piano. He also said that he envisions her as his successor.
