Fans of Korean movies are in for a treat as the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Malaysia will be organising the Korean Film Festival (KFF) at GSC Midvalley in Kuala Lumpur from Nov 22 to 26.

The four-day film festival will feature five Korean movies, and best of all, the screenings are free for public.

The five movies include The Front Line (2011), Kai: The Legend Of Mirror Lake (2016), Bori (2018), Granny Poetry Club (2019) and Tunnel (2016).

This year also commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy between Korea and Malaysia. And to celebrate this momentous occasion, Korean director Lee Moon-ho - who helmed The Lord Musang King, the first film co-produced by Korea and Malaysia - will grace the launch of KFF on Nov 22 at GSC Midvalley.

This collaboration is significant as it brings together the globally successful Korean film industry with the local film industry, The film, which involved a production cost of RM2.5mil and 95% local crew and actors, is expected to be screened in cinemas next month.

If you're interested to watch movies featured at KFF, you can redeem tickets free, on a first-come, first-served basis, via GSC e-payment (website and mobile app) or GSC ticketing kiosk at GSC Midvalley now. You'll receive two complimentary tickets.
