Hong Kong actress Angie Chiu might have turned 69 recently, yet her age-defying looks is leaving people wondering if she has discovered the secret to eternal youth.

In a recent Weibo update, Chiu shared multiple photos from her birthday party on Nov 15. In them, the actress – dressed in a striking red gown and tiara – could be seen smiling brightly as she posed with her birthday cake.

"I've received everyone's warm wishes! Wishing everyone joy, good health and happiness!" she wrote.

Despite approaching 70, many netizens couldn't help but marvel at Chiu's ageless appearance, noting that her face and physique didn't change much from her heydays. Some also felt that she's looking younger with age.

"She looks at least 20 years younger," one netizen wrote.

"I'm so shocked... almost 70 and still looking like this," another said.

"I really thought she was 40," added another netizen.

Chiu, the third runner-up in the Miss Hong Kong pageant in 1973, joined the entertainment industry in 1975 and quickly became one of TVB's top four actresses – alongside Gigi Wong, Louise Lee and Liza Wang.

Chiu is known for her performance in dramas like Heaven Sword And Dragon Sabre (1978) and The Bund (1980). She famously starred opposite Cecilia Yip in the Taiwanese drama, New Legend Of Madame White Snake (1992).

Chiu, who's married to former actor Melvin Wong, has an actor son Wesley. She also has two other sons from a previous marriage.
