Hong Kong actor Benjamin Yuen took a quick break from work to welcome his son on Nov 17.

The actor, married to Bowie Cheung, was in the delivery room to witness the birth of their first child.

Again, on Nov 24, Yuen made time to go back home to celebrate his third wedding anniversary.

His commitment to his family is impressive, considering he's simultaneously filming two dramas – Forensic Heroes 6 for TVB in Hong Kong and a Chinese drama in Shenzhen, China.

To fulfil his acting duties on both dramas, the 42-year-old has been shuttling between the two locations.

What’s even more impressive is that Yuen can put up with supernatural-related occurrences in his hotel room in China, which hasn’t allowed him to rest properly at night.

As first reported by China Press and translated by 8days.com, Yuen shared the creepy incidents on social media along with a photo of his hotel room.

He wrote: “I don’t know why, but some ‘friends’ like to wake me up in the wee hours of the morning. To prove their existence, they’ll play music on my phone and create the sounds of items dropping. Sometimes I hear them singing to me in Cantonese!”

According to the report, Yuen talked about the strange goings-on in an interview as well, admitting he stayed in the hotel room for some time.

He's reported saying: “This morning, I was woken up by a ‘friend.’ I was supposed to wake up at 7am, but they started disturbing my sleep at 5 or 6 am. I woke up and sat there for a while, had a cup of tea, then left to have breakfast.”

While this didn’t prompt him to check out from the room immediately, what finally did the trick was when he started hearing “strange sounds from the wall” and “the voice of someone singing.”

The star of A Fist Within Four Walls said: “I woke up the minute I realised what was going on.

"I usually go to bed after switching off all the lights, and I didn’t want to open my eyes. After that, I started to shiver, and it made me wonder if I was dreaming.

"Two days ago, a song started playing from my phone in the middle of the night. It was really weird, and I immediately turned it off!”
