Suria FM has announced some exciting changes to its daily lineup of radio presenters.
With the addition of actor Datuk Fizz Fairuz, comedian Chiwan Cilok and radio announcer Kai Hassan, the Malay-language radio station hopes to offer listeners a refreshed experience while maintaining competitiveness in the industry.
At a recent press conference at Menara Star, Suria FM general manager DJ Lin said: “The addition of these new presenters is one of the steps taken to strengthen and solidify our lineup of DJs before the Radio Survey which will begin Feb 18 until March 30.”
She added that all announcers have been carefully chosen based on their experience and dedication to the radio industry.
Fizz will join Ajak and Suraya for the weekday Morning Morning Suria programme (6am to 10am) whereas Chiwan will team up with Rara for the weekday Suria Petang segment (3pm to 7pm).
Meanwhile, Kai, another addition to the Morning Morning Suria segment, will also take over the Carta Suria Top 40 (every Saturday from 10am to 2pm) show while Suraya goes on maternity leave.
Aside from new presenters, Suria FM also unveiled three new campaigns as part of its goal to strengthen its bond with listeners.
The radio station will be giving away a cash prize of up to RM24,000 as part of its Seikhlas Suria campaign, which will run until Feb 16.
Listeners stand a chance to win RM300 by registering for the campaign via WhatsApp during the Morning Morning Suria, Gaya Suria (weekdays from 10am to 1pm), Suria Petang or Suria Cinta (Sunday to Friday from 8pm to 1am) segments.
The second initiative, Ybae Suria Masuk Kampung, is a corporate social responsibility programme which offers listeners a chance to break fast with the station's presenters.
Listeners have to submit the name of their residential area and explain why Ybae Suria should go there this coming Ramadan.
Last but not least is the Raikan Yang Dirai campaign which will see Suria FM unveiling its Drama Raya Suria 2024, Raya song and other interesting programmes.
