The home of former Hong Kong actress Bonnie Lai Suk Yin has been put on the market a month after her tragic demise.

The luxury condominium where the celebrity – who’s reported to have taken her own life – was found, is being sold at HK$16mil (RM9.6mil).

This is HK$10mil (RM6mil) below the current market value of the location, says a report by 8days.com.

Lai was renting the Broadview Terrace three-bedroom condominium, located in North Point, Hong Kong.

The location is said to be a popular choice among Hong Kong's affluent due to its view of Victoria Harbour. Prices for properties in the area can reach up to HK$26mil (RM15.7mil), added the report.

It is believed that the tragic incident at the condominium involving Lai is the reason for it being sold at a loss.

The Young And Dangerous 3 actress passed away on Dec 26 at the age of 46.

Hong Kong media reported that the former beauty queen's son found her unresponsive at home. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
