Malaysian singer Michael Wong to perform in KL on May 4

Local singer Michael Wong, better known as Guang Liang, is set to make his highly-anticipated return to Malaysia with a concert at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil on May 4.

The Ipoh-born celebrity sparked excitement among fans after making the announcement during the release of his latest single last month.

This will be his first concert in the country after five years. The 53-year-old last performed here in November 2018.

Wong's Lonely Planet 2.0 World Tour will kick off on April 13 at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Center in China, with subsequent stops in various cities across the country before making its way to Malaysia.

The "Prince of Love Songs" also delighted his fans in Indonesia when he added a second show to his sold-out concert in Jakarta on March 30.

Organised by Star Planet, the Malaysian leg of Wong's Lonely Planet 2.0 World Tour promises a memorable experience for fans to reconnect with their beloved idol through timeless hits.
