Chinese model Moka Fang indeed struck gold when she married Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok in 2017.
Over the past years, we have seen the celebrity couple publicly showing their affection for each other on special occasions.
Netizens have also dubbed Kwok, 58, the "perfect son-in-law" for his respectful behaviour and impeccable manners.
But before meeting her destined partner, Fang, 36, had been involved in several relationships.
According to Hong Kong's Ming Pao, netizens recently unearthed a video of Fang participating in the Chinese dating show Perfect Dating at the age of 25.
The model, who appeared on the programme under the pseudonym Alice, disclosed then that she had six relationships in the past – with the longest lasting two years and the shortest just three months.
Reflecting on her romantic history, Fang said: "I'm fickle because I have not found a boy I like. I might think this guy is handsome and the other is not bad either."
Fang also mentioned that since her parents run a family business, they hoped she would find a partner of a similar social status.
"But I don't really like wealthy guys," she said, adding that it does not matter whether or not her boyfriend's family owned a business.
The clip quickly became a topic of interest among netizens on Weibo.
Some raised eyebrows at Fang's decision to settle down with Kwok, given her previous statement about not being attracted to wealthy men. Kwok has a net worth of US$20mil (RM95.6mil), according to Singapore news portal 8days.
However, several netizens came to her defense, adding that individuals are capable of changing their perspectives over time and that statements made in the past are not necessarily indicative of a person's current beliefs.
Fang and Kwok reportedly began dating in 2015. She was 28 then.
They tied the knot two years later and share two daughters together – Chantelle, six, and Charlotte, four.
