Just over a week after Malaysian artiste Shila Amzah opened up about her paranormal experience at a homestay in Pulau Langkawi, singer Ernie Zakri has her own chilling story to share.

In a recent video uploaded on TikTok, Ernie said she and her manager were staying at a hotel in Kuching, Sarawak when they were apparently disturbed by a supernatural entity.

According to the 31-year-old, she was sleeping when she heard loud banging noises coming from the closet in her room.

“It was like a slamming sound. It was not coming from the room next to us but from inside our room.

“My manager was awake at the time. I called her name after hearing the noises, but she did not say anything about it and told me to go back to bed,” she said.

Although Ernie felt scared and anxious, the singer was able to control her emotions after being comforted by her manager.

“We talked about this incident the next day and found out that the hotel was actually haunted,” she added.

Although Ernie did not disclose the name of the hotel, a handful of fans seemed to have an idea of the location in question and left comments sharing their own ghostly experiences there.
