Indian superstar Rajinikanth, 73, was recently seen boarding an economy class flight at the Kadapa Airport in Andhra Pradesh, India.

When videos of him flying in economy made the rounds on social media, he was praised for his humility.

As reported by the Indian media, in the videos, the Kabali actor could be seen talking warmly to a fan as well as with the airline staff.

"Whoever gets to sit next to Rajinikanth is the luckiest person," wrote a netizen.

His good manners extended even after the plane landed.

As it happened, on the same flight were the players of the celebrity cricket team, Chennai Rhinos.

Apparently, the Annamalai star waited for all the cricket players to disembark from the plane to take a photo together.

One of the cricket players shared: "We asked for permission to take a photo with him (Rajinikanth). But I asked for a little time because we needed to wait for the other team members to disembark from the plane.

"He said sure. He would wait to take a picture with all of us."

Another person who encountered Rajinikanth during this journey was actor Jiiva (Yatra 2); this was when the superstar reached Chennai.

Jiiva shared pictures and videos on his Instagram with the caption: “Flying high with the superstar Rajinikanth sir!”

Rajinikanth was last seen in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial Lal Salaam.
