Al Pacino’s 30-year-old girlfriend, Noor Alfallah – with whom the acting legend recently welcomed a son – says she has the pandemic to thank for her relationship with the Oscar winner.
The Kuwaiti-American producer told Vogue Arabia that roughly a year after meeting at a dinner, she and the native New Yorker, 83, struck up a friendship.
“Then the pandemic hit,” said Alfallah, whose feature debut, Little Death, recently premiered at Sundance.
“Al lives down the street from my house and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies. It was like film school with Al Pacino. ‘Did you ever see Scarface? he asked me. ‘No,’ I answered, ‘Though I know the lines,’” Alfallah said.
After getting an education in “some obscure movies” from the star’s filmography, Alfallah said their bond “just became something more.”
A rep for the Godfather star confirmed to the Daily News last May that Pacino and Alfallah were expecting, a little over a year after they were first romantically linked.
Within weeks, sources announced Alfallah had “recently” given birth to baby boy Roman – Pacino’s fourth child.
Despite a rep’s insistence the couple were “still together,” Alfallah filed for primary physical custody in September, requesting Pacino have “reasonable visitation.”
The filing requested the The Scent Of A Woman star have joint legal custody, allowing him to participate in major decisions concerning their son
By early November, the Heat actor was ordered to pay $30,000 a month in child support to Alfallah, in addition to $110,000 upfront. There was also the possibility she’d rake in an extra $90,000 by the end of the year, depending on Pacino’s 2023 earnings.
Later that month, Alfallah told TMZ that while she loves the Dog Day Afternoon actor, she is “not the marrying type.” They seem to have that in common, as Pacino has never married any of his children’s mothers.
