K-pop star IU to perform two shows in KL in June, tickets go on sale March 26

The last time South Korean singer-actress IU was in Malaysia for a concert was in Dec 21, 2019.

Five years later, in conjunction with her 2024 IU H.E.R. World Tour Concert, the 30-year-old artiste is set to perform for two nights at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur on June 8 and 9.

IU fans – known as Uaenas – can purchase tickets for both nights on March 26, from noon, at the official ticketing website my.bookmyshow.com

Tickets are priced between RM399 and RM949, and are subject to RM4 processing fee.

IU kick-started the tour in Seoul in March and will take her to various cities including Osaka, Bangkok, London and Los Angeles until August.

One of her stops is also in Singapore (April 20 and 21), where tickets were sold out in just three hours.

IU, who debuted in 2008, has released many hit songs like Celebrity, Eight, Bbibbi and Blueming.

On Feb 20, the singer released the EP The Winning featuring tracks such as Shopper and Love Wins All.

As an actress, IU – whose full name is Lee Ji-eun – has starred in popular K-dramas including Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, My Mister and Hotel Del Luna.
