Nicki Minaj proved to not be here for the nonsense after a fan threw an object at her during a concert – she threw it right back.

The 12-time Grammy nominated rapper was captured on video intercepting a pink bracelet and then hurling it into the audience during the Detroit stop of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

The incident happened while she was performing her hit 2011 song Starships. Seemingly shocked about the rude interruption, Minaj crouched down to pick up the unknown projectile before throwing it back into the audience.

While eyeing a certain section, the 41-year-old Trinidad and Tobago native went back to performing the chart-topping hit.

The Stupid Hoe lyricist is just the latest music act to experience the ongoing trend of projectile-throwing at concerts.

And she’s not the first to take matters into her own hands with rowdy concertgoers.

Fellow chart-topping rapper Latto was caught on camera threatening to “beat” a fan for throwing an object at her onstage last summer.

Artistes including Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, Pink, Kelsea Ballerini, Lil Nas X and Drake have had things – including cellphones, jewellery, underwear, sex toys and even cremated remains – thrown at them, too.

“Have you noticed how people are like forgetting *—ing show etiquette in America? They’re just throwing s— onstage,” Adele said about the wave of fandemonium during a performance of her Las Vegas residency last year.

Holding up the T-shirt cannon, the British singer continued: “(I) *—ing dare you. Dare you to throw something at me.”

Minaj continues with her cross-country trek in the US this week with shows in Chicago and a Minneapolis date. She will perform at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on May 1. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
