Malaysian artiste Nora Danish has confirmed there’s a strain in her seven-year marriage with businessman Mohamad Nedim Nazri.

In an interview with mStar, The Star’s Malay-language news portal, Nora, 42, revealed that she and Nedim have been living separately since three months ago.

“Seven years of marriage, there’s definitely some turbulence but we’re trying to handle it as well as we can,” she said on Monday (April 29).

While Nora admitted that it’s “better” for them to live separately for now, she reiterated that she still meets up with Nedim daily.

The singer-actress also made it clear that there was no third party involved. Instead, the strain was a result of conflicting opinions.

“No marriage is without its problems. Divorce is the last resort. I only hope for the best for the both of us and our children,” she said.

According to mStar, talks of Nora and Nedim’s rocky marriage surfaced after the couple failed to share photos of them celebrating Hari Raya together.

Nora and Nedim, who tied the knot in March 2017, have a six-year-old son together.

Nora also has a 15-year-old son from her previous marriage to Datuk Rizal Ashram Ramli, which ended in divorce in 2008.
