Malaysian model and actress Sandra Lim is thrilled to be starring in the new TVB series The Heir To The Throne.

Not only is this her biggest acting project yet, Lim also got to film her first on-screen kiss with popular Hong Kong actor Raymond Lam on the show.

In the series, Lam’s character cheats on his girlfriend with Lim. The pair reportedly have two kissing scenes together.

In an interview with China Press, Lim said she felt a little nervous at first but quickly warmed up as Lam was very respectful.

As for her intimate scenes with the 44-year-old, Lim admitted hesitating to take on the role at first but eventually decided to go for it.

“I mentally prepared myself before the shoot. When the director said I had to lie on top of Raymond, I was a bit surprised but quickly adjusted well,” the 23-year-old said.

Lim also praised Lam’s professionalism throughout the shoot, adding that the actor was very considerate and kind.

Both parties also took great care to ensure neither made the other uncomfortable on set.

The model also mentioned that Lam would strike a conversation with her before shooting began and would thank her for her hard work after filming ended, which helped her relax.

Lim said: “I greatly respect his professionalism; it is something I can learn from. I also want to especially thank him for his care, which helped us complete the shoot smoothly and comfortably.”

The Heir To The Throne – also starring Charmaine Sheh, Him Law and Hugo Ng – was partially shot in Malaysia, with most of the scenes taking place around Kuala Lumpur.

The series premiered on May 13.

Lim is among the list of local talents starring in the drama. Other Malaysian stars in the lineup include Jestinna Kuan, Joey Leong, Feon Lai and Ruby Yap.
