Local artiste Chen Keat Yoke marries longtime boyfriend, announces pregnancy during banquet

Malaysian artiste Chen Keat Yoke recently opened a new chapter in her life after marrying her longtime boyfriend at her hometown in Cameron Highlands, Pahang.

The wedding was reported to be a star-studded occasion, with local artistes such as Nicole Lai Chung Fung, Ky Tha, Justin Ng and many more present to witness the union.

To make the celebration all the more memorable, Chen announced her pregnancy during the banquet, where she displayed an ultrasound photo on a large screen.

The singer-actress expressed excitement, sharing that it was a dream come true for her.

“This is the fastest wish to come true. Every time, people will say, ‘May you have a child soon’. I’m finally ready now!” the 35-year-old said..

Chen announced her engagement in an Instagram post on April 21 last year.

In her post, she revealed that she has been together with her now-husband for 20 years

China Press reported that her partner is not in the showbiz circle.

Chen gained recognition in 2009 after placing third in the Astro Star Quest singing contest and winning the TVB8 International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship 2009 in Hong Kong.

She made her acting debut in the 2010 flick Tiger Woohoo! and was the lead star of the 2023 film Hungry Ghost Diner, which won the Netpac (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) Award at the 27th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
