Australian actress Margot Robbie is expecting her first child with her husband, English film producer Tom Ackerley.

Her pregnancy was confirmed to American entertainment news website People by several sources.

British tabloid Daily Mail published on July 7 several photos of Robbie, 34, boarding a boat during a holiday to Lake Como in Italy with Ackerley, also 34.

The Barbie (2023) actress was wearing a white crop top which exposed a slight baby bump.

Robbie and Ackerley met in 2013 on the set of Suite Francaise (2015). She was one of the stars of the war romance film and he was an assistant director.

They began dating in 2014 and tied the knot in 2016 in a private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia.

The duo are co-founders of British-American production company LuckyChap Entertainment with Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara.

The outfit has produced several television series and movies such as I, Tonya (2017), Birds Of Prey (2020) and Barbie, with Robbie starring in the three films.

She was nominated at the Oscars for Best Actress for I, Tonya and earned a nomination for Best Picture as one of the producers for Barbie. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
