Hong Kong actress Priscilla Wong recently wowed netizens with a video of herself without any makeup on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok.

The 25-second clip starts with Wong showing her bare face before applying light makeup.

The TVB star then models three different navy blue outfits – a flowy dress, a jumpsuit and an elegant evening gown.

The video continues with Wong attending an event before cutting to reveal her makeup-free face again as she does her skincare routine.

In her post, the 42-year-old revealed that she used to feel insecure about going out in public without any makeup.

“I used to be afraid of showing my bare face to others, always feeling that I could only be confident with makeup on.

“Gradually, I began to let go of this foolish idea. We are all ordinary people ... just live comfortably,” she said.

Fans have since flooded the comment section with praises for Wong’s beauty and positive mindset.

“With or without makeup, you still look so pretty. This is what it means to be a natural beauty,” said one netizen.

Another commented: “Your skin is so clear!”

“You have such a positive attitude. I agree that we should all live comfortably,” added a third.

Wong, who began her career as a news anchor in 2003, made her acting debut in 2013 with the drama Reality Check.

Among her notable works include Return Of The Silver Tongue, Two Steps From Heaven and Life After Death.

In 2014, Wong met fellow actor Edwin Siu on the set of the action romance drama, Madam Cutie On Duty.

They began dating some time later and tied the knot in 2018.
