Jennifer Lopez’s largely Ben Affleck-free summer – including solo celebrations of her birthday and their anniversary – may look a bit different than she’d planned, but sources say she’s making the most of it.
The 54-year-old Bronx native – who has recently been seen wearing her wedding ring while out in the Hamptons as Affleck remains in Los Angeles – was last spotted with the Gone Girl star in late June after vacationing in Italy without him.
“Her summer isn’t exactly what she originally had planned, but she’s making the best of it,” an insider told People. “She’s always grateful for family time.”
Initially, those plans included her This Is Me...Live tour, which was set to kick off last month in Miami and would have included two shows at Madison Square Garden.
But Lopez cancelled the tour in late May amid the rumoured tensions with Affleck, with Live Nation noting she was taking “time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
On Saturday (July 13), Affleck skipped out on his wife’s Bridgerton-themed birthday bash, ahead of her 55th birthday on Wednesday (July 24), multiple sources confirmed to the outlet.
The A-listers – who were engaged in the early aughts and reconciled in 2021, before marrying the following year – are reportedly “focused on their separate lives” right now.
That has included celebrating their second wedding anniversary last week on opposite sides of the country, and the Fourth of July before that. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
