HK actor Stefan Wong spotted in KL, enjoys durian with M'sian actress Debbie Goh

Hong Kong actor Stefan Wong Cheung Hing recently came to Malaysia for work.

On Wednesday (Aug 7), Wong shared an Instagram Reel showcasing himself speaking in French in front of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.

In the video, the 45-year-old expressed his love for Malaysia and its capital city, adding that he was thrilled to be here, even if only for a short stay.

“Getting to work and going on a trip at the same time, I’m so happy!” he captioned his post.

During his visit, Wong had the chance to enjoy some durian with local actress Debbie Goh, who recently returned from Paris after attending the 2024 Olympic Games.

The TVB star also posted a photo with a durian seller by the roadside on his Instagram Story, saying: “Hong Kong has ice cream trucks, Kuala Lumpur has durian trucks.”

Many netizens have left comments welcoming Wong to Malaysia while other lucky fans claimed to have spotted him around KL.

“Welcome to my city. Have fun,” said one netizen.

Another added: “Enjoy your durian feast! Saw you today but didn’t wanna interrupt your personal time.”

Wong was born in Hong Kong but moved to France when he was five years old.

He returned to the city after finishing his studies and has starred in shows like Marriage Of Inconvenience (2007), Forensic Heroes II (2008), Line Walker (2016) and more.
