In commemoration of Merdeka and Malaysia Day, a one-night show will be held at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

Scheduled for Sept 7, the Jiwa Malaysia 2024 concert will feature a diverse lineup of local talents – including Bella Astillah, Dolla, Bunkface, Spider, Hujan, Ruffedge and Insomniacks.

Bella, who will be the only solo performer of the night, expressed her excitement at putting on a memorable show.

“I am grateful to the organisers for trusting me to share the stage with local bands to ignite love for our beloved country.

“It doesn’t matter whether I’m from Sabah or whether Spider is from Johor. Here, we are all one. We are all the faces of Malaysia,” the 30-year-old said at a recent press conference in KL.

Meanwhile, CEO of Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia Iliyas Jamil underlined that the Jiwa Malaysia 2024 concert is an opportunity for Malaysians to unite through music that “reflects our shared heritage”.

“This concert will not only entertain visitors, most of whom are from the younger generation, but also inform them about the importance of preserving and defending the nation's sovereignty,” he said.

According to Iliyas, the upcoming show serves as a platform for Malaysians to come together in a collective show of patriotism.

He added that the concert is anticipated to attract around 15,000 attendees.

Tickets for the Jiwa Malaysia 2024 concert are available at https://ilassotickets.com.
