Indonesian singers Afgan and Lyodra will be staging a concert in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 28.

Scheduled to take place at Mega Star Arena, the two-hour show will see the pair entertaining fans with 20 songs.

Although the upcoming gig marks Lyodra’s first performance in Malaysia, the 21-year-old, whose full name is Lyodra Margareta Ginting, said she isn’t anxious at all.

“Instead, I’m taking it as a sign that my career is growing,” she said during a recent press conference in KL, which was also attended by Afgan.

Lyodra also listed Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Ernie Zakri and Aisha Retno as some of the Malaysian artistes she admires and would like to collaborate with.

When asked about her feeling working with fellow Indonesian singer Afgan, Lyodra expressed excitement. The pair released their duet, Ada, last October.

“Afgan has been my idol for the longest time. I never imagined that I would be recording a duet with him let alone stage a concert together,” she said.

Meanwhile, Afgan, whose real name is Afgansyah Reza, praised Lyodra and said the latter will be a diva in her home country one day.

The 35-year-old added: “I think she has one of the best voices of her generation in Indonesia. After listening to her song Sang Dewi, I knew I had to collaborate with her.”

Tickets for Ada Afgan & Lyodra Live In Kuala Lumpur, starting from RM458 onwards, are available at https://www.ticket2u.com.my.
