Hong Kong actress Chrissie Chau is currently in Malaysia to film her upcoming drama, Fearless.

Set for a 2025 release, filming for the action drama kicked off in July, with most of the scenes happening around Klang Valley.

Taking full advantage of her time off between shoots, Chau has been happily exploring various places and enjoying plenty of cuisines such as kaya toast, seafood noodles and more.

On Monday (Sept 3), the 39-year-old shared a series of photos documenting her adventures in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

The actress, dressed in a classy all-black attire, was seen posing in front of Sungei Wang Plaza and trying on a pink sun hat in a gift store.

She also shared on Instagram Story a photo of herself playing badminton with her co-stars Sam Lee, Himmy Wong and Julius Brian Siswojo.

Many fans have left comments welcoming Chau to Malaysia, while others praised her striking beauty.

“Chrissy jie jie! You’re so beautiful. I’m looking forward to your new show,” one fan commented.

Another recommended local dishes to try, saying: “Eat fried kuey teow! You will like it.”

“Welcome to KL. Enjoy your trip here,” added a third.

Malaysia has long been an ideal filming and holiday destination for many Hong Kong stars.

During a press conference in KL last week, TVB general manager Eric Tsang – who’s also in the nation’s capital for filming – said Malaysia is like a “best friend” to many HK stars.

Other HK celebrities who visited the country in recent months include Bosco Wong, Nicholas Tse, Anita Yuen, Jackson Wang and Herman Yau.
