Fazura reflects on life's journey and independence amid divorce proceedings

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, popularly known as Fazura, shared reflective thoughts on the individuality of life's journey amidst news of her divorce from actor Abdul Fattah Mohd Amin.

According to mStar, Fazura, 41, stated that every person has their own path, and one should not expect others to continue living for them.

"This path is yours alone; others may walk with you, but no one can walk for you," she posted on social media.

The post was uploaded minutes after the news about her marital issues became viral, accompanied by a black and white photo of herself.

Meanwhile, through an Instastory post, the 'Pisau Cukur' actress shared wisdom as if to imply she was resigned to face her fate.

"If something you like doesn't happen, then like what happens," she wrote.

In the comments section, netizens showed support and prayed for the best for the actress.

"Stay strong Faz (Fazura’s nickname), may Allah make everything easier. The Fazura I know is a strong person. Everything in this world is just a loan from Allah; the only eternal love is with Allah, in this world and the hereafter," a comment read.

On Friday (Sept 13) morning, Fazura reportedly appeared at the Petaling shariah court in Selangor to file for divorce from Fattah.

Previously, there were rumours that the couple's marriage was facing troubles, but Fazura insisted her relationship with Fattah was in good condition. Fattah, 33, also stated he rarely posts pictures with his wife on social media due to work commitments and was unaware of the gossip circulating about his marriage.

The couple were married on Nov 27, 2017 and share a daughter, three-year-old Nur Fatima Aisya.
