Hong Kong actor Samuel Kwok Fung was recently seen shopping at the The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur.
On Wednesday (Oct 2), a smartphone brand announced on its official Xiaohongshu page that Kwok had visited its outlet at the mall.
The post included three photos of the 72-year-old, attired in a black tee and matching black shorts, smiling happily as he posed with the staff members in the outlet.
He was in Malaysia last year to enjoy durian with some friends, according to China Press.
The post was captioned: "Today, our little outlet was fortunate to meet brother Fung. The shop was lively, and our staff members were excited to snap photos."
Many Malaysian fans have since flooded the comments, welcoming Kwok to the country and wishing him good health.
Some also joked that he was there to buy the shop, a nod to his role as a chairman in the TVB drama At The Threshold Of An Era.
"Welcome to KL," said one netizen.
Another added: "I really love the characters he play. Wishing him good health and happiness!"
Kwok, who graduated from TVB's training class in 1971, has kept a low profile since his wife, actress Susanna Au-yeung, died of lung cancer in 2017.
The actor, who has starred in projects such as Ghetto Justice, S Storm and Raging Fire, only makes occasional appearances in dramas and movies now.
