Indonesian actor Baim Wong has denied accusations that he is keeping his children away from their biological mother, Paula Verhoeven.

Stating this claim to be a lie, the 43-year-old said that he had never prevented them from seeing their mother. Neither had he stopped his ex-wife from seeing them.

He shared this on Instagram, writing: "The claims that I want to take the kids or keep them away from their mother are all lies.

“May those who started and spread this slander be forgiven for their sins.”

Recently, Baim revealed the reason for the divorce was Paula’s alleged infidelity. And that the third party was his best friend.

Baim and Paula tied the knot in November 2018. They have two children together, Kiano, three, and Kenzo, two.

Previously, he said that he’s forgiven the two of them ... “in my own way”.

In this latest Instagram post, Baim said that he’s always taught the children to love their mother, constantly instilling positive words about her.

However, it’s the children who are reluctant to meet Paula.

“I sometimes even force the kids to go to their mother, but they still don’t want to.”

At the same time, Baim asked Paula to be patient, fearing that forcing the children might make them even more unwilling to meet her.

Additionally, Baim apologized on Instagram for having to speak about personal matters publicly, explaining that he wants to avoid misunderstandings.

He ended with: “No matter how much I’ve failed as a husband, I don’t want to fail as a parent."
