Farid Kamil refuses to divorce Diana Danielle for 2nd time, vows to fix marriage

Malaysian actor Farid Kamil is determined to fix his marriage with singer-actress Diana Danielle, refusing to divorce again.

In an Instagram Reel on Tuesday (Oct 29), Farid, 43, said he still loves Diana, 33, and their two children – Muhammad, 11, and Nur Aurora, nine.

“As everyone knows, I love my wife and children. I will do whatever it takes to fix things. Please pray for the best,” he said.

Farid also shared that he’s been informed of Diana’s decision to proceed with filing for divorce in court.

An hour after the video was posted, Diana simply wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Story: “Hypocrite.”

Although she didn’t specify who the message was aimed at, netizens speculate it was directed at Farid.

On Oct 28, Diana set social media abuzz when she announced plans to file for divorce from Farid for a second time.

She urged Farid to let her go, adding that reconciliation isn’t for everyone.

While the Imaginur star refused to explain the reason for the divorce, she did say: “Maybe he will as usual... with flowers and rings and empty promises. Have a nice life.”

On March 28 last year, Farid brought a bouquet of roses and a ring for Diana to the Petaling Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari, Shah Alam, as a gesture towards reconciliation.

At the time, the actress said she will not be swayed by her husband’s antics, making it clear that she’s proceeding with the divorce.

The couple were legally divorced on Aug 10, 2023, when Farid pronounced the talak through an online proceeding conducted through Google Meet, but reconciled days later on Aug 31.
