Hong Kong singer-actor Ronald Law Kwan Moon has started the new year on a high note with the announcement of his marriage.

On Wednesday (Jan 1), Law took to Instagram to share a photo of himself holding hands with his wife, their backs facing the camera.

“For me, in 2024, nothing is more important than you willing to spend the rest of your life with me. Thank you, Mrs. Law,” the 40-year-old captioned his post.

In an interview with Hong Kong’s Oriental Daily, Law expressed his happiness and gratitude to his partner, who appears to be from outside the entertainment industry.

“I’m very happy! I met my wife during one of the most challenging moments of my life. I’m incredibly grateful for her,” he said.

The former TVB star also provided an update on his career, revealing plans to focus more on his music in the future.

“Although I’ve been spending less time in Hong Kong in recent years, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the latest developments here,” he added.

According to Oriental Daily, Law was once dubbed the “King Of Negative Press” following a series of scandals that plagued his career a decade ago.

In 2015, the Forensic Heroes III (2011) star was caught cheating on his girlfriend of four years.

That same year, he was detained by South Korean authorities for getting drunk and taking upskirt photos, according to Hong Kong media.

Law has also faced multiple driving bans in Hong Kong due to incidents of drink-driving.

He terminated his contract with TVB in 2016 and moved to Beijing to pursue his career.
