Taiwanese singer Cyndi Wang (pic) has disclosed what she did in Singapore during a whirlwind trip last week.

The 42-year-old performed at a Singaporean company’s annual staff dinner on Jan 7, singing her hits such as Moonlight (2004), Honey (2005) and I’ll Be Fine (2005).

On Jan 9, Wang posted on Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu a video of what she did during her visit.

“What did I do after the show?” she wrote in Chinese. “I had pepper crab and went for a walk after having my fill.”

Wang said at the start of the video that even though she was staying in Singapore for only two nights, she still had to eat the “delicious” pepper crab.

She went to Long Beach Seafood restaurant in Robertson Quay, and was seen wearing a bib as the camera panned around the table, with her staff making different funny poses.

After the meal, the group walked past the Singapore River and passed by Alkaff Bridge. The group then sang the birthday song for one of the staff members.

Wang, who is in the midst of her Sugar High 2.0 World Tour, said on social media on Jan 9 that she was heading to Nanjing, China. She will perform at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Sports Park on Jan 11 and 12.

The career of the Cyndi Loves You (2004) singer has enjoyed a second wind after she appeared in the third season of Chinese reality singing show Sisters Who Make Waves in 2022. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
