There's now a women, children and elderly hospital and it's located in Desa ParkCity.
The Sime Darby Medical Centre ParkCity aims to be the regional centre of excellence for women and children’s health and elderly health.
It boasts 300 beds, 42 doctors and a state-of-the-art technology (digital mammogram with tomosynthesis, digital child-friendly x-ray, dual source CT Scan 128 low dose and digital fluoroscopy).
In addition, this medical centre claims to be a green hospital, using natural sunlight and ventilation and with a courtyard garden inside the hospital.
The facilities for women include a breast clinic offering breast removal and reconstruction for both cancer and non-cancer patients and low dose digital mammogram with tomosynthesis and stereotactic biopsy.
Parents will be glad to note that there are child-friendly portable x-ray machines and toilets designed for little ones.
There is also a team of geriatric specialists to cater to the needs of the elderly.
This is the third hospital for the Sime Darby Healthcare group after SDMC Subang Jaya and SDMC Ara Damansara.
The hospital opened its doors in December and will be officially launched in July or August.
