Traditional Japanese cuisine with modern influences at Fincch Sushi Room

The Yaki Soba Oshi marries extremely fresh mackerel and pressed sushi rice.

If you’re a stickler for spelling, the first thing that’s likely to catch your attention when you first spot Fincch Sushi Room is that the restaurant name is spelt erroneously. But as it turns out, there is a simple (and quite sweet) explanation for this.

“We needed a restaurant name and one of our partners went to ask his son for a suggestion and he wrote Fincch with two Cs, and that’s essentially it. It’s a typo that became permanent and because it was an answer given in innocence, we thought we’d just go with it,” says Thong Weng Sheng, one of the partners behind Fincch.
