Russian Covid-19 vaccine confirmed to be over 90% effective

Russia's Sputnik V vaccine is 91.6% effective against symptomatic Covid-19, according to results published in The Lancet journal on Feb 2 (2021).

Independent experts said that this allayed transparency concerns over the jab, which Moscow is already rolling out.
