A) Starting position: Wrap the resistance band around your ankles. — REVATHI MURUGAPPAN/The Star
B) Stretch one leg out sideways as far as you can. Hold for three seconds, then return to position A. Do one set of 12 reps, then switch to the other leg.
C) Stand with your feet apart. You can hold on to a chair or wall if you have balance problems.
D) Lift one leg to the back, hold for three seconds, then return to position C. Do one set of 12 reps, then switch to the other leg.
E) Place the resistance band above your knees, then stand with your legs shoulder- or hip-width apart, and get into a squat position. You should already feel some tension in your glutes, thighs and outer hips.
F) Take 10 small steps to your right, followed by 10 small steps to your left. Do two or three sets of these 20 steps.
G) Start from position A and stretch your right leg across your body. Hold for three seconds and return to position A before changing legs. This works your inner thigh muscles.
