How specialists are recognised and registered in Malaysia


Specialists whose qualifications are not on the MMC list are considered on an individual basis for registration in the NSR. Any refusals need to be provided to the applicant, along with the reasons for doing so. — TNS

The Medical Act 1971, which was amended in 2012, is the only Act that provides for the establishment of a National Specialist Register (NSR).
