E-scooters should be required to emit a universal sound to reduce crashes with pedestrians, says Clive Wood, policy and campaigns manager at British charity Guide Dogs.
Wood is calling for officials to introduce legislation in Britain because the use of the devices on pavements mean many blind and partially sighted people do not “feel safe”.
