Today is Mothers Day, and one of the many ways you can show your mother that you appreciate her is to take her out for a scrumptious meal.

Many hotels, restaurants and cafes are offering special meals and deals today, but if you aren’t able to lock in a reservation, remember that you can always spoil mum with breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea, dinner or supper any day of the year – these eateries aren’t going anywhere.

Delectable dishes

Make this Mothers Day one to remember with a sumptuous long lunch at Serena Brasserie at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, from 12.30pm to 4pm.

The in-house chefs have crafted a mouth-watering menu filled with delicious roasts, savoury mains, and an extensive selection of buffet offerings that will tantalise your taste buds.

From the succulent honey-glazed supreme chicken with spinach to the juicy beef Wellington, all these dishes are crafted with care to ensure that each bite is a culinary delight.

You can also relish the flavourful harrissa-spiced roasted bone-in leg of lamb, the savoury blackened red snapper fillet with potato and dill veloute, and the delectable sauteed cheesy beef meatball.

To make the day even more special, all mothers will receive a single-stalk rose, a door gift, and a grand cake cutting ceremony. Lucky draw prizes, including dining vouchers and spa treatments, are also up for grabs.

Grilled favourites and more

Celebrate the most important woman (or women) in your life with a sumptuous feast at Atas, The RuMa Hotel and Residences.

Mum will be spoiled for choice with a semi buffet featuring a salad bar, charcuterie, fresh seafood, a hot section with both Asian and Continental delights as well as an a la carte menu of brunch and grilled favourites cooked to order.

Enjoy tantalising dishes like the Atlantic salmon wellington and the crab meat fried rice after a hearty curry roasted cauliflower veloute, or opt for items from the list of brunch favourites.

These include eggs in various styles, green toast, croque monsieur, grilled cheese sandwiches, dim sum, pancakes, waffles and more.

You can also choose from the grill selection, which includes baby snapper, angus tenderloin or striploin, lamb rack and more.
