Review: Chiljip Psy-da by Psy

Psy seems to have realised that being ridiculous can only take you so far.

It is hard to be taken seriously when the world knows you as that Korean dude with the goofy horse dance. Post-Gangnam Style, Psy has been sticking close to that comical-yet-fun pop template with Gentleman and Hangover.

Those songs never quite achieved the over-two-billion-YouTube-views success of the Internet smash single, and for a while, it looked like the Seoul native was going to be a cautionary tale for future pop stars who plan to go down the slapstick route.
