Coming from a big family, Neelofa, 27, remembers the first day of Hari Raya as a day of chaos. She and her eight siblings would get into all sorts of shenanigans as they rushed to get ready for the day.
“The night before, we would all stay up till 3am just catching up with one another. Then we would pay the price for it the next day as we’d be rushing to get out of the house for prayers. There’s always some drama with fights and tears involved. But in the end, everyone is happy!” she remembers with a laugh.
