Malaysian fashion designer works with Japanese artisan for Raya designs

Rico Rinaldi and Tomita Senkogei have put their heads together to come up with a ready-to-wear Aidilfitri collection. The Summeraya designs combine exquisite Japanese fabrics with demure, flowy forms.

Rinaldi is a Malaysian designer known for his meticulous workmanship and love for detailing. Senkogei, on the other hand, is a highly respected Japanese artisan specialising in traditional kimono fabrics.
