Japanese skincare and cosmetics brand Cle de Peau Beaute has revisited one of its classics for 2020.
The luxury Shiseido-owned brand has launched a revamped version of its signature "La Creme" face cream, set to roll out in Spring/Summer 2020.
La Creme, which was first launched in 1982, promises to work in "every layer of the skin" to tighten, brighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores.
The latest version will feature a new "CeraFerment Extract", which is made from a yeast that was discovered in Japan's Akita Prefecture and which allegedly improves the skin's capacity to regenerate from within. The revamped formula will also include a proprietary complex featuring five key ingredients – Platinum Golden Silk Essence, Japanese Pearl Shell Extract, Theanine, Perilla Extract and Angelica Acutiloba Extract – designed to help the skin repair and defend itself.
