“It’s been interesting juggling being a full-time lifestyle content creator and wearing this new entrepreneur hat. Right now my focus is on growing my business. And this makes me excited because that means more opportunities to turn up at networking events in more structured blazers, stunning heels and a big smile.”
She describes her personal style as “feminine and sophisticated, with a little edge”.
“After experimenting with all kinds of fashion trends since I was a teenager – I have always enjoyed fashion – I think I’ve finally found my personal style in my thirties,” says Asma’.
What is your favourite go-to look?
A pair of great jeans, a well cut blazer, my white scarf and a genuine smile.
What are your three must-have style/beauty items?
Feminine white blouses/shirts, an elevated pair of jeans and statement belt or heels.
What trend would you most like to see disappear?
Petition to confiscate low-rise jeans please. The amount of bum cracks I wish I could unsee when people bend down.
Who would you consider a style icon and why?
Victoria Beckham for her understated glamour. She always looks so refined in monotone layers, but never boring. Carolina Herrera for being the epitome of class and elegance in her crisp white shirts and voluminous skirts, and Hailey Bieber for her sophisticated street style.
