And... she's back. Rihanna thrilled fans as she performed the half-time show at the 2023 Super Bowl. While the music excited everyone, what she wore also garnered attention.
The superstar strutted her stuff on stage while wearing a red Loewe jumpsuit. This is a design specially made by the fashion brand's creative director, Jonathan Anderson.
"I’m so excited to have been part of this unforgettable moment. Rihanna is a true icon, and working with her to bring these stage looks to life feels like a wild, wonderful dream," reads his press statement.

According to the description released, the flight gear-inspired ensemble was intended to "build volume in step with the dynamic scenography of the show".
Defying the norm of performers stripping back layers to reveal another, Rihanna approached the reveal in reverse. Starting with a simple catsuit layer, the dancers and choreography visibly construct the additional elements during each musical section.
Crafted in bold red to match the stage set, the outfit formed a sleek foundation in silk jersey, sculpted leather corset, and flight suit in cotton canvas providing multiple layers and textures.
