Time to dive in: A look at Sinn Spezialuhren's new diving watch collection

Limited-edition pieces feature unique bezels and dials, skin compatibility as well as Ar-Dehumidifying Technology.

Sinn Spezialuhren has released four new diving watch collections this Spring, all with unique characteristics. We take a look at three here.

T50 GOLDBRONZE/ T50 GBDR/ T50

Limited to 300 pieces, the T50 GOLDBRONZE, comes with a unique bezel made out of bronze and gold alloy called Goldbronze 125 that demonstrates the manufacture’s expertise in the field of metallurgy.

The alloy offers a high degree of purity that results in improved skin compatibility and increased corrosion resistance to seawater compared to other bronze alloy, while the case back is made of high-strength titanium for high wearing comfort.

The T50 GOLDBAR also displays a one-of-a-kind decorative polished dial with an irregular decorative polishing that makes it appear extraordinarily unique.

Waterproof and pressure-resistant to 50 bar, this watch made for divers offers strikingly large sword hands as well as colour-coding to ensure clear readability and measurability of time especially in the deep dark.

The 41mm-diameter watch is equipped with Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, a technology by Sinn Spezialuhren themselves to ensure reliability of use and prevent fogging.

While the T50 GOLDBAR is limited, one can opt for the T50 GBDR or the T50 variant which is unlimited.

The T50 GBDR offers the same features of the T50 GOLDBAR with the exception of having a matte black dial and different straps.

Meanwhile, the T50 difference is in its bezel with Tegiment Technology in use for exceptional scratch resistance.

U50 DS

Made with high-strength seawater-resistant German submarine steel, the U50 DS is certain to spark particular interest.

The material is used for the case and crown, giving the watch exceptional strength and outstanding non-magnetic properties while also being high scratch resistance with Tegiment Technology.

The U50 DS has a dial with decorative grinding that will surely attract attention to the wearer.

Thanks to its unique finish, the base material reflects varying nuances of light thus resulting in exciting interplay of colour that makes every watch different.

The watch of 41mm diameter is DNV verified and is waterproof as well as pressure-resistant up to 50 bar.

With its high-quality finish, the diving watch will leave a unique impression on those who lay eyes on it.

Limited to 1,000 pieces.

U1 S MOTHER-OF-PEARL S

Embracing a rare, unique dial, Sinn Spezialuhren limited Model U1 S Mother-Of-Pearl S stands out among divers watches.

With only 300 pieces available, the dial is designed with a shimmering mother-of-pearl that pairs well with the high-quality black hard coating that is made from high-strength seawater-resistant German submarine steel.

The timepiece looks striking and minimalistic, which makes it appealing for everyday wear.

It is extremely durable as the diver’s bezel with minute ratcheting is connected to the case, thereby absorbing impacts.

Protected as well by Tegiment Technology, it raises the hardness level of the material that greatly increased scratch-resistance.

Pressure resistance is verified to a diving depth of 1,000m.

Additionally, its crown is set at 4 o’clock to prevent pressure on the back of the hand.
