Everyday watches need not be boring.

It can be statement pieces that reflect the owner’s personality and character.

Testament to that, luxury watch brand Omega introduced its latest Aqua Terra Shades collection from the Seamaster range that comes in 10 variations, something for everyone to express their own style.

To showcase the new hues, a private event called “Every Shade of You” was held at Omega boutique in The Gardens Kuala Lumpur.

Omega Malaysia vice-president Martin Issing says the event is to celebrate colours.

The Seamaster was first launched in 2002 based on the colours of the earth, he says, with the name Aqua Terra originating from “aqua” being water and “terra” being earth.

In the fourth edition since its launch, Issing says the latest collection consisted of vibrant and unisex colours for general appeal.

“The collection is such that it is meant to be a neutral watch with different colours that fit every move and mood,” he adds.

“You can wear it in the water, to the office, to the beach and to play golf or tennis.

“It fits casual Sundays, as well as cocktail dresses and black ties.”

Some 65 selected clients, media members and influencers were present at the event. Some influencers were also modelling the watches.

Guests have a chance to see the collection up close.

There are two different sizes available, made with polished stainless steel cases either in 34mm or 38mm, and all presented with the Master Chronometer certification, which means its movement has passed the strict tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology that guarantees the highest standard of quality, precision and magnetic resistance.

The dials of Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades are crafted from brass, sun-brushed and lacquered.
